I am so excited to announce that we have signed a new contract with Rabbi Zelony for 5 years! Rabbi Zelony has brought renewed energy toward spirituality, education for adults and children, music and community. We are thrilled that she, Adiv and the kids are as happy here as we are to have them here.
For those of you who were not able to attend our Congregational dinner and special Shabbat service led by our Learning Center children, wow, did you miss out! What an amazing evening, with 125 congregants and guests enjoying a fabulous Chinese dinner, and then a beautiful A Capella Joyful Noise service with all of our children participating. For me, the biggest reward was hearing everyone talk about the special evening we had as a community. A big thank you to all of those who made it possible.
This month, we will be celebrating Purim as a community on Saturday, March 11th. Please join us for the traditional Purim Schpiel, snacks and megillah reading, starting at 7:30. There is also a Young Families program on Sunday morning at 10:00 am.
It is now time to sign up for our Passover Seder on the 2nd night, April 11th. Please go to the website for the link. This special event fills up quickly, so register soon. Stacey Clark will be cooking an amazing meal as she has done the last 2 years.
We continue to have a wide variety of dynamic programming at Beth Torah, truly something for everyone. Please make sure to read through the whole Family Record to find information about the events that interest you.
Mazel Tov to Stacey Clark for her honor at the Torah Fund Sisterhood Brunch. It was a lovely event honoring a special member of Beth Torah and an opportunity to thank Stacey for all she does for our congregation.
And a big thank you to the Learning Center parents who joined us in our Parents as Partners town hall meeting this past Sunday. Our Learning Center has made amazing progress in building an educational program that really engages our children in their Jewish journeys. We appreciate all of the parent support and look forward to continuing this strong partnership to continue building an even more amazing program. Your ideas and feedback were so positive and helpful!
Volunteerism at Beth Torah is an amazing phenomena to watch. I am so grateful to each and every one of you who pitches in, both in small and big ways. If you are looking for a way to get involved or more involved, please let me know! All of the special things that happen here are because of congregants like you who bring their heart and soul to our community.
