Join us at 7PM on select Friday evenings for our contemplative minyan when we will celebrate the building of the mishkan, God’s sanctuary in the wilderness. What was it like to build God a home? Choose from the following activities: building community by visiting with friends over a glass of wine or sparkling water (Lobby) ● exploring the materials of the mishkan through a guided, multi-sensory experience led by Debbi Levy (Library) ● meditative walk (Oneg Room) ● meditating in the quiet room (Rabbi’s Office). Feel free to join us at 7:30 PM for our Community Kabbalat Shabbat & Ma’ariv service. Check the calendar for upcoming dates as this is not a monthly service.
Festive First Friday
We invite those with birthdays (adults and children) and anniversaries each month to attend the first Friday night service at the synagogue. The rabbi offers a blessing for those celebrating and we share cake afterward.
These free classes are for babies, toddlers, and children ages 0–4 along with their parent, grandparent, or other adult. We have three different class series: Babies & Toddlers, 2–3s (Preschool), and Pre–K. We also have a number of All Ages class sessions. Each class includes Havdalah, music, movement, and age–appropriate activities to help children and their adults share a fun and engaging Jewish experience together. Snack is served but feel free to bring your own and to feed or nurse your child as necessary. Our classroom includes a diaper changing station and preschool–size toilets. All children must be accompanied by at least one adult participant. Click here to register!
