Community Shabbat Service
Tefillot shel Shabbat
Beth Torah is a participatory and egalitarian synagogue, where congregants lead services with Rabbi Zelony, and serve as weekly Torah readers. Men and women share equally in all aspects of religious observance, and you will frequently find recent Bar and Bat-Mitzvah “graduates” on the bimah leading or reading.
Community Shabbat services at Beth Torah are primarily congregant led and there are many opportunities to get involved. For more information on leading the services, please contact Chuck Smith at email@example.com or call the Rabbi’s office (972.234.1542 ext 227)
Friday night services begin at 7:30 PM each week unless otherwise noted on our calendar.
At our Community Shabbat service on Friday evening, we welcome Shabbat with prayer and song. For Shabbat services & candle lighting times click here to return the home page. Friday evening services are approximately one hour in length.
Festive First Fridays
Join us on the first Friday of each month for a special service celebrating upcoming birthdays and anniversaries.
Shabbat Morning services begin at 9:30 AM each week.
Held in our sanctuary, our services use Siddur Sim Shalom and Etz Hayim chumash. Transliterations are available to help anyone participate. Shabbat morning services are usually finished around noon and followed by a Kiddush lunch for all.
Streaming is offered on the first, third, and fifth Saturday morning Shabbat service of every month unless otherwise noted in the weekly enews. A new password is required each month to access the stream. For instructions on requesting a login password as well as instructions to how the service is accessed, click here. For questions, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
