Our 2018 drive is April 8–29!
People are hungry right here in North Texas and you can help. Bring unexpired non-perishable food and personal care items and leave them in the designated boxes in the synagogue lobby.
The Food Drive will culminate on Mitzvah Day with our 5th and 6th grade Learning Center classes taking our donations to the food bank and stocking their shelves, personally!
Please help us achieve our goal of 2018 items. Together, we can do this! Just bring a new item every time you come to shul. It’s really that easy!
JFS always appreciates any donation of the following high-demand items for their Food Pantry and Emergency Assistance program:
- Full size personal hygiene items such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo, toilet paper, etc.
- Baby food
- Canned foods
- Diabetic foods
- Hamburger / Tuna Helper
- Jelly (strawberry and apricot)
- Peanut Butter
- Snack foods (breakfast bars, cake mix, chips, cookies, crackers)
Food does not need to be Kosher but it must be non-perishable. Check for valid expiration dates before dropping off in the Beth Torah lobby.
